Cordavi Restaurant Introduces "Cordavi Tastes" - New Tapas Style Menu

Cordavi Restaurant, raved for its remarkable food and innovative style of dining, introduces a groundbreaking tapas style menu "Cordavi Tastes" taking Charleston's culinary scene to a completely new level. Chefs David Szlam and Corey Elliott's intention is to create a menu consisting of small plates that stays true to their reputation of having one of the most original and daring menus in the city. The menu will be available Mondays through Thursdays and will go into effect on August 13, 2007.



With everything under $10, Cordavi Tastes menu gives the restaurant's guests a glimpse of what Cordavi has in store for the future of Charleston cuisine. The menu features some of the chefs' favorite preparations of interesting fare, and is filled with extraordinary flavors. "Our goal is to create a new, but still very exciting menu for the more relaxed diner," says Chef David Szlam. "We want our food to be accessible to everyone who wants to learn about new preparations and presentations, and experience dishes that are otherwise only available in large international destinations, such as New York or San Francisco."



The new menu features an array of complex items such as local Heirloom Tomato with Olive Oil Snow, mouthwatering Almond Coated Sea Bass and Yogurt Foam; unforgettable Seared Scallop with Potato/Leek Consomme; Pork Belly with Scrambled Corn; and "Philly Cheese Steak" and Caramelized Onion with a unique Cordavi twist. The local favorites from the bar menu such as Mini Burgers with Blue Cheese Chips and "The Shortribs" with Whole Grain Potatoes will also star on the new menu for under $10.



Cordavi Restaurant, raved as one of the best new restaurants 2006 in America by Esquire Magazine, offers a fresh, innovative style of dining in Charleston. It is located at 14 North Market Street and specializes in innovative American cuisine.
