Blackberry Farm welcomes Charleston Chef Sean Brock of McCrady’s Restaurant
For Immediate Release, April 2010Blackberry Farm is pleased to feature Sean Brock of McCrady’s Restaurant in Charleston, SC in a special event, “Brock Party,” to take place at the Relais & Chateaux property in Tennessee, June 27-29, 2010. Brock is a renowned chef who will surely provide a delightful experience for guests through a three-night event that will include cooking demonstrations that incorporate fresh selections from the Blackberry Farm garden and showcase his innovative Southern style.
Chef Brock has a long list of accomplishments and accolades to his credit, including two dinners for the James Beard Foundation, features on the Food Network, numerous glowing reviews and local awards, and apprenticeships with acclaimed chefs. He will be featured alongside vintner Michel Chapoutier of Hermitage, France. Chapoutier will be bringing wines from his family vineyard. Chapoutier is known for incorporating the heritage and tradition that stands behind his name with a creativity that is both daring and fresh. Bringing amazing wines to pair with Brock’s celebrated cuisine, this event will provide guests with an intimate and rejuvenating food and wine experience. Blackberry Farm Chef Adam Cooke will team with Brock for the demonstrations, incorporating what is so unique about Blackberry Farm into the event.
