BB&T Charleston Food & Wine Festival Recognized with Regional Award

The BB&T Charleston Food & Wine Festival was recently recognized at the Annual Conference & Trade Show for South Carolina and North Carolina festival and event planners. The South Carolina Festival & Event Association (SCFEA) annually awards events across the state in 13 major categories. This year’s awards were representative of the best in both South Carolina and North Carolina for any event held in 2006. All winners received awards at the annual Excellence Awards Luncheon hosted by the South Carolina and North Carolina Festival & Event Associations on Monday, January 29th at the Charlotte University Hilton in Charlotte, NC.

The SCFEA is a non-profit association of festival & event professionals that supports its members by providing educational, marketing, and networking opportunities while serving as a resource for the event industry. The South Carolina Festival & Event Association has been promoting special events in the Palmetto state since 1984 and currently has more than 175 members.
