For Immediate Release, January 2008 http://www.tigerlilyflorist.com
Forget a dozen red roses this Valentine's Day; an exclusive Charleston, S.C., florist is giving sweethearts a way to really impress their loved ones with a truly one-of-a-kind arrangement of exotic, hard-to-find blooms from as far away as Israel, China or Holland. On Feb. 1, Tiger Lily will launch its new Black Market Designs line for 2008, offering its most discriminating clients arrangements full of the finest and rarest flowers sourced weekly from across the globe.
From lobster claw and peonies to chocolate cosmos and black forest calla lilies, Charlestonians, notorious for their taste in blooms thanks to the city's historic heritage of courtyards, gardens and plantations, will now have access to arrangements available in only a few major cities around the world.
"For clients who really want to do it right for Valentine's Day with the best champagne, the finest restaurant and an expensive piece of jewelry, a dozen red roses is just not going to cut it," says Clara Gonzales, design director for and president of Tiger Lily. "We decided to create a line of flower arrangements for those who want the best of the best and something truly original, whether it's Valentine's Day or beyond. Who better to do it than Tiger Lily, already nationally known for our high-quality, impactful, long-lasting designs?"
"Glow" arrangement, including cymbidium orchids, parrot tulips, star of Bethlehem, donna roses, vanda orchids and hot shot callas in an aged wire basket.
Tiger Lily has dedicated two designers to the line who select the flowers from countries as far away as Ecuador, Israel, China and Holland and order them weekly specifically for Black Market Designs' arrangements. Clients who request a Black Market Design will receive within 48 hours a completely unique arrangement designed just for them from that week's flower selection. The arrangement will arrive in an artisan container with a card describing where each bloom included was grown. Prices range from $150 to $350.
