Chef Frank Lee, nationally acclaimed for his identification with food of the Lowcountry and for his award-winning cuisine at Slightly North of Broad restaurant in downtown Charleston, will take helm of all culinary operations at the Old Village Post House in Mt. Pleasant. He will assume the position of Executive Chef and will work closely with the existing kitchen staff.
Chef Lee continues as Executive Chef of Slightly North of Broad, and Vice President of Culinary Development for Maverick Southern Kitchens. He will divide his time primarily between the Old Village Post House and Slightly North of Broad.
The Post House also announces a change in dining hours effective March 31: Daily a la carte lunch service will discontinue. Lunch service will be available daily for private group dining, including business lunch meetings, special events, bridal celebrations, and more. Nightly dinner service and Sunday brunch continue, as does weekday happy hour in the tavern.
Old Village Post House General Manager Lee Cohen states, "we are thrilled with the changes taking place, which will allow us to fully concentrate on our core business services of dinner, brunch, group dining and guest accommodations. Our dining guests enjoy seeing Chef Lee here, bringing his exceptional culinary talent to the Old Village.
