Pier Fishing Tournaments

Cast your line off the Edwin S. Taylor Folly Beach Fishing Pier on June 7 for a chance to win prizes! Join us for our monthly fishing tournaments. Prizes will be awarded for various categories. Registration is on-site only at 6:00 am, and the tournament will conclude at 4:00 pm with prizes awarded at 4:15 pm. Moonlight Mixer

One more reason to love the Lowcountry – two Moonlight Mixers this month! Join shaggers at the Folly Beach Fishing Pier on June 13 & June 27 for this beach tradition.

Headlining the event will be Charleston’s best DJ for beach, boogie, and blues, Rob Duren! Two left feet? No problem! Breathe in the ocean breeze and enjoy your favorite beach foods and icy-cold beverages, available for purchase on-site at Locklear’s Beach City Grill & the pier gift shop.

Event hours are 7:00-11:00pm (gates open at 7pm). Tickets purchased in advance are $8 for Charleston County residents and $10 for non-county residents. Tickets purchased at the gate (if available) are $10. Only 600 tickets will be sold.

Scouts Day at Whirlin' Waters

Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark welcomes all Scouts to its 7th Annual Scouts Day on June 21. Enjoy all your favorite rides, attractions, and food. Reggae Summer Concert Series: Hope Massive

Good music! Good vibes! The Reggae Summer Concert Series is back featuring old school roots reggae with a new school attitude. Bring a chair or blanket and kick back in the beautiful outdoor setting of James Island County Park.

Performing June 21 is Hope Massive from Boone, North Carolina. Hope Massive blends a rare style of roots and vintage dance hall music (.www.hopemassive.com).
