Description

Bulldog’s Culinary Tours of Charleston takes its guests on an exclusive culinary adventure through the city. With four different 2.5-hour tour options to choose from, you’ll get to walk, talk, and taste your way through history, learning how Lowcountry cuisine has evolved over the past 300 years.

The Savor the Flavors of Charleston tour visits downtown culinary staples, so you can sample everything from sweet tea and stone-ground grits to benne wafers, Southern pralines, and collard greens. We also feature the Savor the Flavors of Upper King Street tour, where you’ll visit trendy Southern-fused hotspots the whole country’s buzzing about. From BBQ to chicken and dumplings, fried green tomatoes, and house made bruschetta, you will be tastings some of the finest restaurants out there. Go behind the scenes into some of the city’s most talked about kitchens. Meet the chefs and learn the restaurant’s rich history during the Chef’s Kitchen Tour. The Charleston Dessert Tour will acquaint you with the art of dessert as it dates back to the 18th century — get a history lesson while you sample sweet treats like the Huguenot tort, lemon bar, coconut cake, Southern pralines, petit fours, and chocolate truffles.

Enjoy unique tastings of Lowcountry cuisine and let our knowledgeable tour guides immerse you in the rich history and culture of Charleston. These informative tours are ideal for both casual fans of the culinary arts or the hardcore foodie in your life.
