Drawing Room

Drawing Room is one of Charleston’s newest and most highly acclaimed downtown restaurants, providing the perfect spot for cocktails, shared plates and dinner in the historic French Quarter district. This contemporary, yet sophisticated restaurant and bar is located in a thoughtfully restored 1780s Charleston warehouse building and melds effortlessly into its chic surroundings. Executive Chef Jon Cropf, recently nominated by locals for “Best Chef in Charleston”, has held the honor of being a Platinum member of the local Sustainable Seafood Initiative for the last 5 years. Locally sourced seafood and produce are the mainstay of the innovative menu designed to showcase Cropf’s artistic style.

Signature menu items include the heirloom beet salad, venison and beef tartare, seared grouper with carolina gold rice, sweetgrass mussels, peas and saffron broth; as well as the seared ahi tuna and tenderloin of venison.
