McCRADY’S INTRODUCES THE ULTIMATE PERSONAL DINING EXPERIENCE

New Private Chef’s Table Room Built Just For Exclusive Events

For more than two centuries, McCrady’s has been Charleston’s choice for the finest private events. McCrady’s new Chef’s Table extends that tradition to the highest level, offering to Charleston’s most discerning diners an impeccable experience unlike any other.

The Chef’s Table is quite simply the finest completely personal dining experience available. In the weeks prior to an event, Chef Sean Brock will meet with the host personally to create a special menu just for that evening. Starting with a clean slate and using the finest ingredients available, he will work with the host to design each course to their specific tastes. Once the menu is set, Clint Sloan, McCrady’s Wine Director, will help the host select the perfect wines to match each course. And both of them will be available during the evening to personally ensure the guests’ enjoyment of every detail.

Of course, an evening this magnificent requires a setting just as spectacular, and McCrady’s spared no effort in creating it. Hidden behind pocket doors, the finely crafted mahogany paneling and Baccarat chandelier of the Chef’s Table room create the perfect ambiance for the most elegant of meals. The table itself is custom-made of inlaid mahogany and seats up to twelve guests. Service in this exquisite setting features a dedicated collection of the finest bone china, silver flatware and Riedel Sommelier Series glassware.

McCrady’s Chef’s Table is a truly private salon, separate from the dining room and reserved for just these special events. For those desiring even greater privacy or a higher level of security, the Chef’s Table room also offers a direct, discrete private entrance on East Bay Street, just steps from the curb.

McCrady’s Restaurant
Built on romantic little Unity Alley in 1788, McCrady’s was the favored gathering place for Charleston’s early leaders and even hosted a dinner for President George Washington. The warmth and elegance of its 218-year-old exposed brick walls and fireplaces are accented with soaring skylights, dramatic chandeliers, bluestone tiles and a striking two-story wine bar. In this spectacular setting, McCrady’s features the classic flavors and fresh presentations of Progressive American cuisine, an award-winning wine cellar and impeccable AAA Four-Diamond service.

McCrady’s is open for dinner seven days a week, and hosts private events in the historic Long Room upstairs. Call McCrady’s at 843.577.0025 or visit www.mccradysrestaurant.com. McCrady’s is just steps off East Bay Street, at 2 Unity Alley, in Charleston, South Carolina.
