Cordavi Restaurant, raved as one of the best new restaurants 2006 in America by Esquire Magazine, offers a fresh, innovative style of dining in Charleston. The restaurant is thrilled to introduce its new Spring Menu which stays true to its mission to serve only the freshest and finest seasonal ingredients. The new menu will go into effect on April 18, 2007.
“Our goal and mission is to re-excite people about foods that they know. We take familiar foods and present them in a new way. Our spring menu is a combination of the finest local and international products,” says Chef Szlam. The spring menu will allow patrons and visitors to truly indulge in impeccably executed dishes mastered by two talented chefs, David Szlam and Corey Elliott.
To give a glimpse of things to come, the menu features the mouthwatering Asparagus Soup prepared with porkbelly and bacon froth; Potato Encrusted Local Grouper seared to perfection and Maple Encrusted Pork with apple turnip puree and pork jus. Local favorites such as the Truffle Infused Tenderloin served with loaded backed potato blanket and sauce bordelaise, and Scallops Two Ways will remain on the menu. It is one of the most original and daring menus in the city.
Cordavi is located at 14 North Market Street and specializes in innovative American cuisine. Dining hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:30p.m. to 10 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant is opened until 10:30p.m. Restaurant offers complimentary valet parking.
