Charleston Fine Art Dealers' Association Welcome New Members
For Immediate Release, February 2007The Charleston Fine Art Dealers' Association, one of the city's leading visual arts associations, is pleased to announce the addition of two new members-Corrigan Gallery and Robert Lange Studios.
"Both galleries add to Charleston's art scene by bringing refreshing diversity in the artists they exhibit," says Ann Long, the president of the association.
Located in the heart of the city's French Quarter Gallery District, The Corrigan Gallery exhibits abstract and representational art, possessing the charm of Charleston with a contemporary edge. Owner and an artist herself, Lese Corrigan, represents an exceptional array of artists including Manning Williams, Beverly Derrick, Karin Olah, Kevin Bruce Parent, John Moore, Candice Flewharty, Sue Simons Wallace, JD Cummings, Daryl Knox, as well as her own work.
Also located in the historic gallery district, Robert Lange Studios represents artists and photographers who demonstrate the finest of contemporary American Realism and Abstraction. The gallery represents some of the city's finest, most innovative and imaginative artists who are changing the city's art scene with abstract, imaginative works of John Duckworth, Robert Lange, J.B. Boyd, Gary Grier, Aaron Memmott, Fletcher Crossman and Penelope Moore, as well as featured artists on a monthly basis.
The Charleston Fine Art Dealers Association is one of the city's leading visual arts organizations, consisting of Charleston's most prominent galleries. The organization is dedicated to promoting Charleston as a fine arts destination for talented artists and collectors. In addition, CFADA contributes a substantial amount of funds to local high school art programs, donating more than $70,000 since 2004.
