The Preservation Society of Charleston will hold its November 2009 Membership Meeting and Lecture on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at The Charleston Museum, 360 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC.

The Society welcomes speaker Stephen Hoffius, local freelance writer and former director of publications for the South Carolina Historical Society. Mr. Hoffius will present a lecture on his new book, a collaboration with Robert Cuthbert, Northern Money, Southern Land: The Lowcountry Plantation Sketches of Chlotilde R. Martin. Following the lecture, Mr. Hoffius will be signing copies of his new book and light refreshments will be served. There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend.
