Broad Street Merchants Association Hosts ‘First Fridays on Gallery Row’

The Broad Street Merchants Association will continue hosting “First Fridays on Broad” on Friday, August 7th, from 5pm – 8pm. Come out and celebrate “Summertime on Broad” by enjoying fine art and refreshments in the boutiques, fine art galleries, and bodegas on Gallery Row – Historic Broad Street.
Hamlet Fine Art Gallery will feature copper frog sculptures titled “It’s Raining Frogs” by Charles Smith and sons, Zan & Beau. COCO VIVO Fine Art & Design will highlight watercolorist Tony van Hasselt, Dutch native and elected member of the American Watercolor Society. Edward Dare will feature “Backroads and the Delta Blues” photography by Ron Anton Rocz. Mary Martin Gallery will feature “Extreme Realism Photograpy of Flowers” by Scott Peck. =2 0 “Clients tell us this is one of their favorite monthly events,” said Stephanie Hamlet, owner of Hamlet Fine Art Gallery. “Customers can relax while receiving individual and personalized attention as they browse the vast array of fine art, sculpture, jewelry, gifts, pottery, home accessories, and unique fashions on “Gallery Row.”
Each doorway on Gallery Row offers you something special to treasure, be it a painting, a gift, or simply a wonderful memory. As you stroll from one gallery to another, enjoy the Southern charms of colorful flower boxes, enchanting hidden courtyards and gardens, and pristinely preserved architecture.
