Charleston International Airport is located 12 miles from historic downtownC harleston and near the intersection of I-26 and I-526. Arrivals and departures are on the same level; therefore, passengers and meeters and greeters will find good accessibility throughout the airport. The major airlines have ramped loading bridges to/from the aircraft. Some regional jets may require boarding by stairs from the tarmac or the use of a lift-a-loft (check with your airline regarding their boarding policies).

TDD phones are located on the concourses and at the Communications Center.

Disabled accessible parking is available in the long and short-term lots.
