Cypress Gardens plans to celebrate Hawaiis 50th anniversary of statehood with a Luau on the 4th of July. The event is planned for the whole family and cheaper than a trip to Hawaii.
There will be wet jump castle for the children and everyone can enter the limbo and the Hawaiian costume contest. Bring your ice cream churn and enter the ice cream contest. Hula dancers and ukulele band will be a part of the entertainment lineup. T
he Supporters of Historical Cypress Garden will roast a pig and have hotdogs, hamburger along with other island foods. Hawaiian plants- Pineapples plants, hibiscus, taro and plumerias will be on display in the gardens and in the Butterfly House.
