Fish's Bastille Day Celebration Set for July 14th

07/14/2009

Address: 442 King Street

Since Fish Restaurant just happens to have a Frenchman (the chef!) in the house, two words came immediately to mind as they considered the month of July: Bastille Day, July 14th.

So, wheels started spinning and soon enough Fish had paired with Charleston Ballet Theatre and the amazing mother/daughter duo (Martine & Emilie) at Dulles Designs to begin some scheming and planning for a party that would take King Street by storm.

The first annual Bastille Day celebration will be Tuesday July 14th…for what's certain to become QUITE the Fish tradition.

Revelers will experience:
*Live French music: Accordion, bass and a mystery French guest chanteuse!
*Live entertainment as Charleston Ballet Theatre will be providing the entertainment as several of the company’s gorgeous and talented female company members present a bawdy can-can performance
*A $6 French bar menu
*Specials on Pernod & Absinthe drinks
*A $35 Lyon-inspired prix-fixe menu
*Petanque (the French version of bocce ball, in case you didn’t know)

And more but why give it all away now?!

It suffices to say that if you’re in anywhere in the vicinity of 442 King Street on Tuesday, July 14, starting at 6 pm, you should plan on paying Fish a visit. Guaranteed memories. And photo opportunities galore.
