Symphony Tour of Homes on Kiawah and Seabrook Islands
Event Details
On Saturday, November 4, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., guests are invited to tour seven exceptional homes on picturesque and exclusive Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, followed by a free concert by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra (CSO) at 5 p.m.
All proceeds from the tour will benefit the CSO and Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. (CSOL®) music scholarships. The free masterworks-style concert at 5 p.m. is sponsored by the Town of Kiawah Island Cultural Events Fund. The concert will be conducted by CSO Music Director Ken Lam in the East Beach Conference Center on Kiawah Island and does not require a ticket.
The CSOL® house tour includes live music and refreshments. Advance tickets for the tour are $45 and are available online at csolinc.org, the Kiawah Island Visitors' Center and Indigo Books, Freshfields Village. Tickets purchased on the day of the event will be $50.
As the longest-running island house tour in the Lowcountry, the Symphony Tour of Homes showcases a wide variety of outstanding residences, each unique in its architectural and interior design, reflecting the varied interests and lifestyles of their owners. This year is no exception, featuring an exciting mix of properties from some of the area's best architects and builders.
Saturday, November 4, Schedule:
9:30 a.m.: Check-in and tour starts on the Green at Freshfields Village (in front of Java Java)
10 a.m.- 4 p.m.: Self-guided tour of seven homes
5 p.m.: Free concert in the East Beach Conference Center by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, courtesy of the Town of Kiawah Island Cultural Events Fund (Ticket not required)
