Summers Corners' "Food is Love"

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with a chocolate making workshop?

Teens (ages 12 to 18) are invited to unleash their inner chocolatier at Summers Corners "Food is Love" event on Saturday, February 13 where they will learn to make different kinds of chocolate truffles.

Summerville Chef Herman McNeill will lead teens step-by-step to prepare delectable chocolate treats. Teen chefs will create truffles, and the Summers Corner staff will provide cellophane bags and ribbons to transform them into gifts.Parent chauffeurs are welcome to relax in the adjacent café during the workshop and will be treated to complimentary coffee drinks.

The workshop will take place at the Corner House at 1609 Beech Hill Road, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 13. The program is $15. Space is limited,so get your tickets today!

Future events will feature a Spring Garden Festival, Mother's Day tea and a Father's Day fishing event.
