Still-Life Painting in America

Drawn from the museum's permanent collection and select private loans, this exhibition examines the genre of still life over the course of three centuries. Ranging from Thomas Wightman's paintings of the 1840s to William Merrit Chase's beautiful Still Life with Fish to Jill Hooper's contemporary works, the exhibition draws compelling comparisons among works from different time periods.

Exhibit will last from May 28th through November 27, 2016.
