The Footlight Players is hosting its first fall festival celebration with Lowcountry boil, beer, wine and a silent auction. Lovin' the Lowcountry is 6-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 at Pierce Park Pavilion, 1801 Pierce St. on Daniel Island.
Enjoy live music by The Shem Creek Boogie Band along with a special performance by S.C. Shagging Hall of Fame dancer Claude Robertson and dancing partner Linda Ouzts. Tickets are $35 per person; purchase at www.footlightplayers.net or call the box office at 843-722-7521. All proceeds benefit The Footlight Players, one of the oldest community theatres in Charleston.
