Home Team BBQ Celebrates 10 Years in Charleston

Home Team BBQ is celebrating their 10 year anniversary in Charleston with a special block party downtown and week-long food and drink specials at all three locations.

On Saturday, November 19, starting at noon until 6:00 p.m., patrons can celebrate at the 10 Year Anniversary Block Party on the entire block of Williman Street in between Morrison Drive and North Nassau. The party includes live music by some Home Team BBQ favorite musicians including headliner American Aquarium, Junkyard Angel, the Home Team All-stars featuring Elise Testone, members of Shonuff, Guilt Ridden Troubadour, and Gaslight Street with Oliver Goldstein of Dead 27s, Corey Stephens of Josh Roberts & The Hinges, Stuart White of Weigh Station, Ward Burkheister of Sol Driven Train, Louis "Louie D" Dixson, Reid Stone, Mac Leaphart, and other special guests.

There will also be food stations with signature dishes available for purchase including pulled pork sandwiches, wings, pork skins with pimento cheese, boudin balls, mac and cheese, collard greens, cole slaw, and baked beans. Gamechangers will be served in a special commemorative cup and Home Team BBQ has partnered with Palmetto Brewery for a special beer for the occasion which will debut at the event.

There will be a kid's area with jump castles, face painting and more. The event is free and open to the public to attend. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

For the week of November 14-18, each location will have a special platter with one meat and two sides for $10 each.
