Gibbes Art Camp

Join the Gibbes Museum of Art for a great summer of creative fun at our 2016 Summer Art Camp. Work with practicing artists and museum teachers, and create your own fantastic artwork!

Classes will be held at the newly renovated Gibbes, where campers can explore the reopening exhibitions, Beyond Catfish Row: The Art of Porgy and Bess and The Things We Carry: Contemporary Art in the South, as well as the museum's permanent collection. This summer, young artists can choose from six themes: Coastal Creations, The Art of Asia, Music, Movement, and Masterpieces, Go Green, The Greats, or Explorer. Full day campers should bring a bagged lunch.
