Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar Hosts 3rd Annual FleetFest Oyster Roast

Charleston, S.C. - Join us at Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar for a day of great music, food, and fun at the 3rd Annual FleetFest Oyster Roast, held at 186 Concord Street from 11 am - 5 pm on Sunday, February 21st, 2016.

FleetFest has no cover charge and will feature Lady's Island Oysters (Beaufort), BBQ from our own Alex Hammond, among other menu items, and a lineup of local beers sponsored by Palmetto Brewery and Revelry Brewing.

Sous Chef Deljuan Murphy - runner up of Food Network's Chopped and owner of Sugar Rush Bakery will be providing desserts, and local bands The Ramblin Fevers and The Bushels will be performing. Attendants are encouraged to "bring-your-own-shucker," and the event is dog-friendly.

"We are surrounded by such a wonderful community; we do this in appreciation of everyone who supports us all year long," said Tradd Newton, owner of the restaurant.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Charleston's local initiative Feed the Need. Created by Mickey Bakst of Charleston Grill, this program ensures meals are cooked and served by the hospitality community through Tricounty Family Family Ministries, East Cooper Meals on Wheels, Crisis Ministries, and Neighborhood House on a year-round basis.
