Born in Spain, both Carles Lama and Sofia Cabruja showed exceptional talent as pianists early on in their lives. Both studied in college at Barcelona Conservatory, and then went on to musically train at the Ecole Normale in Paris and then at Hartt School of Music. Publicly and critically-acclaimed, Carles and Sofia are recognized for the extraordinary ability to move their audience while showing their brilliant technique, passion and elegance. Carles and Sofia have developed a unique style by sharing the piano which allows for a diverse range of chords. They like to refer to their style and performance as "four hands, one feeling." Their repertoire includes a variety of classical artists from Bach to modern works.
