Join us for a magical night, while Kiawah Island hosts the Columbia City Ballet as they perform Swan Lake. Swan Lake is an ever-popular ballet featuring a night full of enchantment and fantasy. Composed by the well-known Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake is a classical ballet that tells the story of Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer.
Tchaikovsky is also known for his works, Sleeping Beauty and the Nutcracker. Founded in 1961, Columbia City Ballet offers audiences all over the Southeast with the highest quality and popular ballets. The ballet is led by Artistic and Executive Director, William Starrett. Starrett has transformed the ballet into a professional company featuring 32 dancers and thousands of season memberships. The Columbia City Ballet, along with director William Starrett, bring this classic to life that all audiences know and love.
