Event Details

RACE HIGHLIGHTS
-Marathon and Half Marathon course features scenic water views, the Battery, and historic King Street
-Shrimp and Grits 5k run through historic Park Circle in North Charleston
-Finish Line street festival featuring live entertainment, kids area and vendors
-Indoor, climate controlled Packet Pick-up
-Health and Fitness Expo featuring over 50 vendors
-Awards are 5 deep in age categories
-Youth Marathon Program including local sports characters, awards and kids fun area and entertainment

COURSE DETAILS:
-USTAF Certified Courses
-Marathon is Boston Qualifier
-All courses are flat
-Entertainment along the course
-Ample aid stations with medical support
-Indoor bathrooms at start and finish AND indoor showers at finish
-Ample parking at the start with shuttle return

ALL PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE:
-Long-sleeved Tech shirt featuring a local Charleston Artist
-Free Shrimp and Grits and beer/mimosa (over 21) at finish line
-Commemorative medal for all finishers

11:00am-8:00pm - Packet Pick-up/Late Registration/Health and Fitness Expo
2:00 pm - Youth Marathon Check-in begins
3:30 pm - Youth Marathon Check-in begins

SATURDAY, JANUARY 14TH, 2017
6:30am - Packet pickup and late registration – Half & Full Marathon at Burke Middle High School – 244 President St., Charleston
6:30am - Packet pickup and late registration – 5K at North Charleston High School - 4720 Jenkins Ave., North Charleston
8:00 am - Marathon & Half Marathon Begins Downtown by Joe Riley Stadium at 330 Fishburne St., Charleston
8:00 am - Shrimp & Grits 5k By North Charleston High School at 4720 Jenkins Ave., North Charleston
9:30 am - Awards and Finish Line Entertainment & Celebration by North Charleston High School - corner of East Montague Ave. and Jenkins Ave.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 15, 2017
