Charleston Arts Festival

The Charleston Arts Festival will celebrate all things creative with centerpiece events each day of the festival.

Day 1 - Pecha Kucha 25 - Charleston Music Hall NOW NOVEMBER 18
Day 2 - Origin: A Culinary Evolution - High Wire Distillery NOW October 27
Day 3 - Women and Radiohead - Charleston Music Hall NOW November 1
Day 4 - The Grande FINALE - Old City Jail NOW OCTOBER 22

The inaugural Charleston Arts Festival seeks to bridge the gap between artist intention and audience expectation by leveraging creative collaboration across artistic disciplines. Eye-opening, accessible and intentional art will set the scene for a dose of perspective in every genre.

OCTOBER 22: Following a full week of scrambling, in our inimitably “all things creative” manner, CAF is kicking off phase two of festival one with our FINALE at the Old City Jail.
One of many bits of related good news is that we have a revised roster of amazing musical acts to kick up the jail yard: Jordan Igoe, Beach Tiger, a hip hop mashup featuring Benjamin Starr, Matt Monday, and Kevin Venom, and the evening’s capper of The High Divers. That plus all the expected JAIL BREAK energy will surely make for an exciting festival kick-off-finale. TICKETS: $20.00.

OCTOBER 27: Next will be the stunning “Origin : A Culinary Evolution” at High Wire Distilling Company with super star chef, Jason Stanhope leading the fray into a total immersive arts environment featuring exquisite cuisine and cocktails complemented by original music, movement, and spoken word. Other featured participants are Joy Vandervort-Cobb of PURE Theatre’s ensemble, Marcus Amaker, Poet Laureate of the City of Charleston, Jayce McConnell, head mixologist at Edmund’s Oast, and Andrew Walker, founder of the CAF. TICKETS: $150.00.

NOVEMBER 1: At the Charleston Music Hall, “Women & Radiohead” will feature five of our city’s most compelling female voices—Lindsay Holler, Hazel Ketchum, Zandrina Dunning, Jordan Igoe, and McKenzie Eddy-- as they reinterpret the music of one of the most popular cult bands extant today. TICKETS: $15.00.

NOVEMBER 18: Pecha Kucha XXV —yes, twenty-fifth—will be also be at the Charleston Music Hall. This very special edition will music-focused with eight presenters— music managers, performers, promoters, venue owners, and more-- and three unique musical acts: The Plantation Singers, She Returns From War, and Very Hypnotic Soul Band. TICKETS: 15.00.
