Blast from the Past 2

This all new show features the biggest hits of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Written by Brad Moranz, “Blast 2” is the sequel to last year’s Piccolo Spoleto smash-“Blast from the Past”-seen by over 2,000 lowcountry residents.

More than a musical revue, the show tells the story of what happens when a freak meteor shower bombards an oldies record store bringing all the records to hilarious life. But when aliens show up looking for the meteors, the fun really begins.

Featuring an all professional cast from New York, you’ll hear:
Little Richard sing “Great Balls of Fire”, Mick Jagger gyrate to “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”,
Roy Orbison croon “Pretty Woman”, Bobby Darin swing “Splish Splash”, Herman’s Hermits with “Henry VIII”, Ray Charles perform “What’d I Say”, Aretha Franklin sing “Chain of Fools”, Dusty Springfield wail “I Only Want to Be With You”, The Righteous Brothers sing “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling”, and many, many more.

“Blast from the Past 2” will be presented for 4 performances only downtown at the Charleston Music Hall, located at 37 John St. directly across the street from the Visitor’s Center.

Showtimes are:
