Beer, Bavaria, and Manís Best Friend

This event for both people and their pets will offer exhibits, demonstrations, experts, entertainment and more, from 11 a.m. Ė 4 p.m. on Oct. 16. Plus, enjoy an Oktoberfest atmosphere with tasty German dishes and beer, available for sale just outside of the dog park.

Dogs will get great exercise enjoying Wannamakerís off-leash dog park while their owners enjoy live music in the park by Return of the Mac. Bark in the Park! Oktoberfest will also feature a pet parade (costumes are encouraged), and Swift Paws lure chasing, which allows dogs the opportunity to run on a lure race course. Dog-related vendors as well as several non-profit rescue groups will also be on site throughout the event, so pet owners are encouraged to stop by to support these great organizations.

The event schedule is:
∑ 12 p.m.: Pet contests

∑ 1 Ė 2 p.m.: Live music from Return of the Mac

∑ 2 p.m.: Pet contests and pet parade

∑ 3 Ė 4 p.m.: Live music from Return of the Mac

Pets at the festival will need to be leashed or restrained when not in the off-leash dog park area. Outside food, beverages and coolers are not permitted. A photo ID is required to purchase alcohol.

Admission to Bark in the Park! Oktoberfest is $8 per person. Gold Pass Holders and kids 12 and under are free.
