3rd Annual So You Thought You Could Spell Spelling Bee

On October 9th at 7pm, Charleston’s Best Sports Bar, The Alley, will host their local celebrity roast/ comedy/ spelling bee tournament: So You Thought You Could Spell Spelling Bee, which will benefit local education nonprofit, Be A Mentor.

Guests can look forward to a night filled with an adult spelling bee, comedy show, and roast of some of the city’s favorite Charlestonians all while enjoying drink and food specials. The city’s local celebrities and community leaders will come out to participate and bring awareness to this important organization.

The person who wins will be the recipient of the title winner, a trophy and more. All participants will receive a $20 bar tab to help get them through the night.

The event is open to the public, and admission is a $5 donation to Be A Mentor.

Last year’s event turned into an outrageous roast, so children are advised not to attend.
