*January 15: Dr. Gail Wagner (Associate Professor of Anthropology, University of South Carolina), "Colonial Encounters: What Happens to Diets When Worlds Collide?"
*January 22: Sheila Ingle (Author), "Judith Giton Manigault, a Woman of Substance"
*January 29: Chris Judge (Director of Native American Studies Center, USC Lancaster), "Gathering Up the Fragments: The Elusive Cheraw Indians in Colonial Times"
*February 5: Donald West (Trident Technical College) on the Atlantic slave trade
*February 12: Bill Davies (Attorney), "Lafayette and the Rights of Man"
*February 19: Martha Zierdan (Curator of Historical Archaeology, Charleston Museum) on artifacts of colonial Charleston
