A Wine Enthusiast’s Guide to Charleston

Home to a number of world-renowned restaurants often associated with a city three times its size, Charleston is a cuisine-crazy destination. The region celebrates its storied fare with food festivals throughout the year, including the Charleston Wine + Food Festival. With a mix of celebrity chefs, more than 90 food and wine stations, and cooking demonstrations, it’s now one of the top food and wine events in the nation. In preparation for this year’s festival, we teamed up with Mira Winery Napa Valley Education Center & Tasting Room, located in the heart of historic Charleston, to share their wine enthusiast guide to the Lowcountry. Scroll on for Mira Winery’s 5 favorite spots to sip and savor world-class wine in Charleston, then join us this March to satisfy your foodie cravings over innovative Southern spirits and award-winning cuisine.
