There is undeniable reason that Charleston is recognized as the most friendly city in the U.S. and it all boils down to the Holy City’s southern hospitality. Rhett Ramsay Outten, the epitome of a southern hostess, is sharing her favorite hostess gift finds from Croghan’s Jewel Box to fit every celebration. Rhett shared, “A hostess gift should be an easy thank you that is universal and enjoyed by all.  That is not an easy task, but at Croghan’s we have come up with some good ideas to get you started.”

1. GOLDBUG COCKTAIL NAPKIN

Something local is always a nice thought. The goldbug cocktail napkins speak to Charleston’s eccentricities in the most unique way! We like to say that we have “guilded the city’s most unwelcome guest!” It makes a fun conversation starter.

2. ICE SCOOP

An ice scoop is a most welcome addition to any bar as they are to hard to find and easy to misplace.  Everyone can use the item and Croghan’s offers several styles to choose from.

3. STERLING NUT DISH

We love our sterling nut dishes.  For the hostess with an appreciation for estate silver and old tradition, who may be space challenged, this is a perfect gift.  Croghan’s loves to engrave “Thank You” in the center and sometimes we even put the memorable date on the bottom of the dish with the couple’s initials. Throw in a bag of Benne Seed Wafers as they are the perfect size to fit in the dish!

4. TRIVET

Let’s face it, everyone  can use a trivet. Croghan’s suggest one hat is made of pine straw and has a silver edge. This style can be used for the most casual or elegant settings.
