5th Annual Colour of Music Festival

The Colour of Music Festival offers a musical kaleidoscope highlighting the impact and historical significance of black classical composers and performers on American and world culture. The festival delivers a global offering of the leading black artists with featured performers from France, Colombia, Great Britain and the Caribbean. This year’s highlight includes a tribute to opera sensation Leontyne Price in honor of her 90th birthday.

For The Adventurer:
Garden & Gun Jubilee
Join us December 1 – 3 for the fifth annual Jubilee: Made in the South Weekend, a lively celebration of the best of the best shopping, cuisine, art, and sporting in the South produced by Garden & Gun magazine.     I am surprising my wife with a trip to Charlestown between Christmas and New Years. She has been wanting to visit forever. What’s going on over the Christmas to New Years holiday? Oh yeah, she doesn’t walk very well at 73 with her arthritis so any walks need be short.
